The product

Less scattered information.
More deliberate decisions.

SAGE is being developed for structured document workflows—with templates, checks, and review practices shaped around the task.

Security & data boundaries

Your environment. Deliberate control.

The intended product architecture keeps processing within approved data boundaries, with no cloud AI fallback, document telemetry, or unapproved synchronization. Local processing remains the default; approved enterprise connections would be designed separately. Explicit review gates control which facts reach a preview. Organizational access, encryption, retention, and recovery controls require separate design and validation; local processing alone is not a security assurance.

Workflow adaptability

Your templates. Your rules. Your review.

The broader SAGE vision spans structured documents, including contracts, proposals, reports and internal approvals. Each workflow needs its own maintained templates, required fields, relevant validation rules, and controlled mappings. Broader support remains a development goal; the current prototype demonstrates a fixed fictional agreement scenario.

Enterprise fit

Connect the workflow to your organization

The product direction includes approved connections to document repositories, business and case-management systems, and organizational identity. Shared template governance, role-based review, and traceable handoffs are design goals. No enterprise connector, shared service, or centralized access control is implemented in today’s prototype. Each integration requires defined permissions, data boundaries, conflict handling, audit, and security validation.

Financial clarity

Budget validation

The prototype applies exact-decimal arithmetic to demo totals, rejects invalid amounts, and shows the source of a discrepancy. Production rules, formulas, and supported workbook layouts remain to be validated.

Information completeness

Required facts, visible gaps

Demo checks identify required fields and invalid dates. Missing values remain missing until a person supplies them; SAGE does not infer facts.

Evidence in context

Follow the source

Source references accompany fictional values and findings. Reviewer-entered corrections are distinguished from bundled information, so a value’s origin remains visible.

Review with intention

Decisions that stay connected

The prototype records corrections and explicit approvals. A change invalidates approval and the preview. Local review-record export is available; reloadable cases remain planned.

Template guidance

Less searching. A clearer starting point.

People select synthetic, versioned templates in the current prototype. Future AI could recommend or select from an approved catalogue using organizational rules, validation and review controls, reducing repetitive work. Catalogue management and AI assistance remain planned. Approved legal wording must be preserved.

Controlled output

Assemble only what was reviewed

The prototype gates a nonlegal preview behind checks and approvals, then fills explicitly mapped fields. Faithful Word output, formatting preservation, and Windows distribution remain planned.

Planned local AI assistance

Suggestions for language.
Evidence for facts.

Arithmetic follows explicit rules. Editorial suggestions require human review.

Planned local AI may propose grammar improvements, completeness findings, and structured extractions. It cannot invent missing facts, rewrite approved legal provisions or approve consequential changes. Future AI could also recommend or select an approved template, reducing routine preparation work under organizational rules, validation and review controls.

Today’s optional editorial example is fixed demonstration text, not a working AI feature.
