Frequently asked questions

A clearer picture
of SAGE.

The product, the prototype, and the path ahead.

Is SAGE a web application?

The current prototype is a native application. The broader vision is an organizational workflow that can fit corporate networks and connect to approved enterprise systems. Deployment options and integrations still need to be designed and validated. This public website explains the product and offers a fictional tour; it does not process documents.

Who is it being designed for?

Professionals who prepare and review structured documents across businesses, nonprofits, foundations, educational institutions, and public bodies. The intended audience includes operations teams, program managers, and document reviewers. These are intended audiences, not claims of existing customers or deployments.

Can SAGE adapt to our organization?

That is the intended direction. Different structured document workflows call for different templates, required information, validation rules, and review practices. SAGE is being designed around maintained, versioned templates, explicit rule configurations, and controlled field mappings. Organization-specific configuration and validation remain development work; the current prototype demonstrates fixed fictional scenarios.

Does it replace reviewers or legal judgment?

No. SAGE supports preparation and review. People remain accountable for facts, consequential decisions and the resulting draft. Future AI could assist with routine preparation and template selection under organizational rules and review controls. A reviewed draft is not an executed agreement or proof of legal validity.

Does AI choose the template?

Not in the current prototype—a person selects a maintained, versioned template. Future versions could use AI to recommend or select an appropriate template, reducing routine work while following organizational rules, validation and review controls. That capability has not yet been developed. Human review and preservation of approved legal wording remain central to the workflow.

What is demonstrated today?

The native prototype demonstrates fictional scenarios, exact-decimal demo budget checks, required fields and dates, manual synthetic template selection, source references, explicit approvals, a nonlegal assembly preview, and local review-record export.

Are Excel import, Word output, and local AI available yet?

These remain planned. The prototype uses bundled fictional inputs and a nonlegal text preview. It does not ingest Office files, generate faithful Word documents, or run an AI model.

Is Windows the intended platform?

Yes. Windows is the intended office platform. Current development evidence comes from a Mac; packaged Windows distribution and Windows acceptance remain planned.

Can visitors upload documents to this website?

No. There are no document uploads, case storage, accounts, or document-generation services on this website. The tour uses only bundled fictional data.

Is SAGE available for purchase or download?

Not yet. SAGE is an early prototype in development. There is no public download, trial, pricing, or committed launch date.

Are SharePoint or Dynamics integrations available?

Not yet. Enterprise connectivity is part of the product direction: approved connections to document repositories, case or business systems, and organizational identity. SharePoint and Dynamics 365 are examples to explore, not supported integrations. Each connection needs defined data flows, permissions, audit, failure handling, implementation, and a documented security review before use.

Does the website chatbot use AI?

The SAGE guide matches short typed product questions and selected choices to prepared answers. It is not a live AI service and cannot read documents. Questions and choices stay in page memory; they are not transmitted to a chat provider or saved by the website. It asks you to clarify when a question is unclear or outside its prepared topics.

How are federal document-security requirements considered?

Future federal use must account for departmental security categories and markings, need-to-know access, permitted storage and transfers, records retention, disposal, and assessed deployment controls. These requirements extend to extracts, AI inputs, drafts, temporary files, review records, logs, and backups. They remain design and validation work; the current prototype is not authorized for protected or classified information.

What kinds of documents could SAGE support?

SAGE is being designed for intelligent document preparation and structured workflows. Possible future use cases include contracts, financial instruments, proposals, reports and internal approval documents. Each workflow would use maintained templates, relevant information checks and organizational review practices. Broader support is still in development; the current prototype demonstrates a fictional agreement scenario.

How does SAGE approach security?

Security is a product priority. The intended architecture avoids cloud AI fallback, document telemetry, and automatic external synchronization; human approvals and controlled mappings limit changes. Today’s prototype uses fictional data and has no network integration. Access controls, encryption, retention, recovery, offline performance, and organizational deployment safeguards still require design and verification. Local processing is not a certification or proof of compliance. This website does not accept documents.
